Before a patent, a trademark of a design is registered, one should know if:

  • the invention, which is the basis of a patent application, is known in the same or similar way, i.e. is the invention new and inventive?
  • the trademark registered in the respective country already?
  • the design known already?

Today more than 90 millions of patent documents are published (source: espacenet). And it is estimated that about 80% of the technical knowledge is published in patents and patent applications. We investigate with a patent search if your invention is already known or obvious. With a trademark search we clarify if your trademark is registered and with a design search we find out if your design is known already.
